I remember
watching Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show on my parents’ black and white TV. I
remember standing in line to get tickets to see Elvis at the old Olympia
Stadium. I remember coming home from work that fateful day when my scampish
son told me Elvis was dead - I didn't believe him until I turned on the TV.
Does that give you an idea of how old I am?
Elvis has always been my passion, but I was never a crazy screaming teenager about him. Shortly after Elvis died, I saw one, and only one, Elvis Impersonator, or Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) if you prefer, and I vowed I would never go see another, although at times I was inadvertently exposed to them.
Then, along came Fred. My daughter went to high school with Fred and found out he was an ETA when she was helping plan their 2006 reunion. She asked me in July 2006 if I would like to go see one of his shows. I went because my daughter asked me to, not because I really wanted to see an ETA. That show just blew me away. Fred not only looks and sounds and moves like Elvis, but he is a great entertainer in his own right. I have been going to every show I can ever since that time.
Fred is the greatest!

I have been told that I have been an Elvis fan since I was just a baby;
BEFORE I could walk I would be in my walker (those little seats on wheels
that everyone now says is bad for kids...LOL) and would just start bouncing
every time Elvis was on the radio. I grew up an Elvis fan even when it
wasn't cool and got teased A LOT for it in high school.
Lucky for me I got to see a live performance at the Pontiac Silver Dome just before Elvis passed away. Next to the birth of my daughter it was the most exciting time of my life! Of course I was all of 12 years old and all I did was cry and scream. Elvis touched me in a way that just simply can not be described.
After his death it seemed everyone was an Elvis -be and it was just awful. I never saw a one that would even begin to compare to the original - that’s a big set of boots to fill.
Living in Stanton, Michigan, I heard Elvis songs coming from the entertainment area of our local summer celebration and just knew it was not going to be anything that a TRUE Elvis fan could stand to witness. I walked by and there was Fred, he was actually singing, not just moving his lips to a pre-recorded song, there he was moving like Elvis - NOT someone who had just touched an electric fence, how refreshing it was!
As a tribute artist FRED truly is AWESOME. He is a performer that can take you back to when the King was alive, he helps bring those memories and emotions back again. I know there will never be another Elvis but, I also know that Fred does a wonderful job of helping those of us who still love the King to have a few minutes of happiness once again.
Thank you Fred for all the hard work and your DEDICATION. As a TRUE fan of Elvis I applaud you!

I have seen Fred many, many times over the past 10 years, and he is always
AWESOME!Fred has a FANtastic personality, and really cares about his fans
and his music ! He is not like so many others who think they are Elvis, with
a over inflated ego! He always gives his best, and pleases his fans. And
this is why we love him so much! I saw Elvis 5 times in concert, and WOW,
now when I see a GOOD ETA, it really makes me happy that they do a real
tribute, like Fred does! GO FRED!!!! We love you man!!!
(hugs)

I have seen Fred many, many times and he never fails to put on a
wonderful show. He sounds a lot like Elvis and has a wonderful
sense of humor.
Also, he is very personable and is willing to talk to you after the show and
let you take
pictures with him.
I wish I could see more of Fred.

Fred performed
at my sister's wedding on Sept. 30, 2006 and he was superb. That was the
first time I had seen him and I, and some friends, have gone to the Last Lap
Cafe and have seen him several times since. He truly is one great
performer. He loves his audience and has a great time performing for them.
You can see it in the fun he has with them. I will continue to go and see
him as long as I can.
Good Job Fred.

HE EMAILED US ABOUT A SHOW AT THE LAST LAP CAFE AND WE WENT. I WAS NEVER ONE TO SEEK OUT AN ETA. BUT AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID, FRED IS DIFFERENT. HE DOESN'T THINK HE IS ELVIS, HE JUST ENJOYS ENTERTAINING FANS OF THE KING. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE HAVE BECOME FANS AND ENJOY HIS SHOWS IMMENSELY. HE ALWAYS TAKES TIMES TO TALK TO HIS FANS AND DOESN'T HAVE A "BIG HEAD" THAT MOST OTHERS HAVE. WE HAVE TAKEN FRIENDS TO SHOW AND THEY HAVE ALSO ENJOYED HIM.
THANKS FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO, FRED. WE LOVE YOU.

Recently I hired Fred to perform at our son's going away party (he is being deployed to Iraq) and I have to give Fred huge thanks for a WONDERFUL afternoon!
His professionalism and talent are such rare qualities these days. He took the time to make sure all our guests, both young and old, had a great time. The weather was typical for July, hot!! But, Fred took it all in stride, enjoyed the shade we put up and gave an excellent performance.
I have gotten so many good comments about our party and Fred's performance, I am seriously thinking about making it an annual event, if his schedule will allow. It's refreshing to see someone who truly gives 100 percent to their performance and the fans.
Keep up the GREAT work Fred, you’re the best!!!

Hi everyone:
My husband and I surprised our guests, at
our wedding on September 30, 2006, with having Fred perform for them. Well,
let me tell you, to this day everyone still talks about what fun they had at
our wedding. Fred interacted with all my guests and made them feel like he
was singing just to them. Since getting to know Fred, I’ve learned he is
such a good person, he and Shannon are people that make you feel you are so
welcome. He is such a great performer that he should have many years ahead
with his performing. If anyone wants to have a performance at a function
they are having, I encourage them to call Fred and Shannon, not only will
you be happy with your choice, your guests will talk about it for a long
time.
I wish him and Shannon and their two new children all the happiness life
holds.
