Friday, August 22, 2008, Pre-Cruise Rock and Roll Show

Come along to Chesterfield Township on Friday, August 22nd, and get your engines revved up in advance for the North Gratiot Cruise which takes place on Sunday the 24th.  The North Gratiot Cruise is an annual event in Macomb County to raise funds for the benefit of the Macomb County Sheriff and Chesterfield Township Police K-9 dog units. The Friday night of rock and roll entertainment, with Brian Grob as Buddy Holly, the Blue Brothers, and Fred Wolfe doing his tribute to the King of Rock and Roll “Elvis”, will be hosted by Salute to the Superstars and Dimitri's Town & Country. Come dressed in your favorite 50’s attire for dinner at 7:30 p.m. and stay for the show at 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required - no cover charge.  The price of your dinner includes the show. This show is sure to be a sell out, as they have been in the past at Dimitri’s, so call (586) 949-9600 today to make your reservations.

Fred Wolfe will be kicking off Karaoke Night at the Richmond Good Old Days Festival on Thursday night, September 4, 2008, with his Elvis Tribute Act starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Beverage Tent.  ADMISSION IS FREE!  Come on down and enjoy the show and make sure to warm up your vocal chords for later when Fred turns the microphone over to the audience.  The entire festival falls on the weekend after Labor Day and runs Thursday through Sunday.  It was voted Michigan’s Best Small Town Festival for several years running and this year marks the 45th anniversary of the festival. Sunday evening will showcase a Salute to the Superstars show featuring various other tribute artists.

Location:  Richmond is located on 32 Mile Road (Division Road), just West of Gratiot and I-94 in Macomb County.  There is an exit off of I-94 at 32 Mile Road.  The hub of the festival will be in Beebe Street Memorial Park which is East of Main Street and North of 32 Mile Road in Richmond.       MAP
